Introduction

This masterclass aims to empower female leaders to overcome challenges such as gender discrimination, gender pay gaps, and unequal rights in their workplace. Throughout, participants identify the obstacles unique to women in leadership positions. It provides practical strategies to address these challenges to expand the role of women in leadership, both personally and in their organisations.

Who is this course for?

This masterclass is aimed at professionals in leadership positions across all levels within the organisation, or those earmarked for leadership or managerial positions.

Why choose this course?

Participants will explore gender-based leadership in Africa, with a focus on the impact of broader gender issues faced by women leaders on the continent. They will further explore internalising personal leader identity and apply it to analyse their own effectiveness in the work context. Participants will also gain access to insights from four leading generations in the workplace who will share powerful experiences of communication and networking for female leaders. Lastly, the masterclass will explore leading with courage as strategic leaders, with a focus on the ability to overcome risks, facing fears, and achieving goals against all odds associated with being women.
